He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
