History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
