History: Efferil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Beiro was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Beiro took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother').
