Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Berrian studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Berrian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Berrian. Being a Mason kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Hadarai is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Beggar and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his violet robe. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his top tan hat.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Nim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When Nim reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Being a Detective kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
