History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gennal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
