History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Server work with an outfit from a few towns over. Server work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
