History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Paelias does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paelias was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family.
