History: Galinndan was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Galinndan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
