Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Laucian was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

Description: This tall, slender man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Crown-heir profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. A true patriot, Aust would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the south to a Healer, Aust learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
