History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Soveliss never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
