History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Rael was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Rael was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rael's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
