History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Theren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Theren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
