He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Berrian was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He became a Baker soon after.

He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to be a barrister again
