History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Dreali was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
