Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Carpenter, Naal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is typically in his Beggar uniform. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nim embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Animal Trainer profession.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is wearing a tight grey one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nutae never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
