History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and wants his loneliness to end
