Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Naal embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Naal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Lucan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a tight black one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
