After coming to the age of reason, Paelias took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his morningstar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His tied-back hair is golden. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wants to raise his children well
