History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his youth he was a Roofer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Dreali lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Mindartis's homeland. Mindartis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

His hair is long and blonde with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Enialis was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content; and to share knowledge with the world
