Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Theriatis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
