History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears dull grey sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed crossbow, just in case. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the north. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a long, green cloak. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aerdeth is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
