History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Arannis was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
