Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Theriatis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gennal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
