History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
