Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This tall, slender man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is long and black with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naeris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a tattered pair of loose white pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aust studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Aust took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a worn and beaten armor. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his silver hair up. He has amber eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eiravel embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eiravel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Eiravel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the north

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
