Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Traki took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
