Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Korfel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
