He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rael does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
