History: Mindartis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against giants

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now owns his own business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
