His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
