History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dayereth was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
