Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Naeris was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now owns his own business.
