History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Erdan was born with his father's beautiful face. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Laucian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge
