When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Halimath took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Halimath was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
