History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Peren took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Theren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
