History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dreali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Uthemar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
