History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
