History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He got into the Baker business at a young age. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
