Personality: Rolen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aelar grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
