History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Riardon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.
