History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.
