History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
