History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the east to a Miner, Lamlis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to be a weaver again
