History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Thervan was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Tharivol was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tharivol's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
