Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his chestnut hair up. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 4'8" and wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is cut close to his head. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He prefers to wear flannel. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Body Guard profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
