Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Heian was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Herbalist. He has worked as a Herbalist like his father before him.

His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
