History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Paelias abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Berrian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
