History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Eiravel liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bather. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Bather. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was a Locksmith, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in the east to a Apothecary, Heian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
