History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
