History: Theren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He got into the Farmer business at a young age. Through the years after Aust was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aust's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has achieved small success as a Farmer.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Erevan's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Erevan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erevan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erevan. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
